At the product design stage we take your technical drawing or 3D model and assess manufacturability against sheet thickness and material grade. Where it helps we suggest small improvements to the part geometry, looking for a route that delivers the same function with fewer stations and at lower cost.

Process design fixes the forming sequence, the strip layout and the holding points. Pitch and pilot hole positions for progressive dies, and the motion of the transfer arms for transfer dies, are resolved here. With our dimensional inspection and reverse engineering service, we can measure a sample part and turn it into a 3D model if that is all you have.
