Our History
From a 30 m² workshop to today's plant: Beşel Kalıp since 1978.
The story of Beşel Kalıp is the story of a craftsman who started with his own machine and grew the business in every decade since. The milestones below summarise the road from workshop to factory.
A 30 m² workshop in Çamdibi
Zühtü Bıyık founded Beşel Kalıp in a 30 m² workshop in Çamdibi, İzmir, with 100% Turkish capital. The first jobs were press and die work for the surrounding industry.
First machinery investments
As demand grew, new machines were added to the workshop. The increased capacity required a move to a new 100 m² facility.
Entering the automotive supply chain
Work began with automotive and home appliance suppliers in the Aegean region. This period brought the company's quality and delivery discipline to its present level.
CNC investment and the Kemalpaşa plant
CNC machining centres, wire EDM machines, drilling and tapping centres and 150 tonne presses were acquired. Production moved to the Kemalpaşa plant with 1,200 m² enclosed and 4,000 m² open area.
Diversifying into new industries
Home appliances, HVAC, electrical and electronics, agricultural equipment, energy and industrial blade production were added alongside automotive. Series production became a core business line next to die manufacturing.
From design to series production under one roof
Engineering and design, die manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication and series production all run in the same plant. Forty-five years of accumulated knowledge now serves eleven industries.
