Control plans define incoming material checks, first-off approval, periodic measurements and reaction limits. Burr growth, feed error, surface damage and dimensional drift are monitored as process signals.

What affects cost per part?
Material yield, cycle rate, automation, batch size, tool maintenance, inspection, packaging and logistics all influence unit cost. A faster press does not guarantee a lower total cost if scrap or downtime rises.
